-The most important symptom is a swelling or lump in your neck
-Trouble breathing
-Trouble swallowing
-Voice hoarseness
-A persistent cough not related to a cold
-Throat or neck pain
But beware many people do not have any of these symptoms and don't even know that they might have Thyroid Cancer. If you have a history of family Thyroid Nodules or Cancer it is very important to let your family doctor know. Your doctor will follow up with a thyroid sonogram for early detection.
